DescriptionDe Poort Country Lodge is nestled in the heart of the Cango Valley - 15km from Oudtshoorn, en route to the Cango Caves, Cango Wildlife Ranch and Cango Ostrich Show Farm and offers spectacular, mountainous views of the valley. The lodge is owned and managed by Leon and Rita, who will warmly welcome you with true Klein Karoo hospitality. The Lodge boasts with breathtaking nature and scenery (ideal for bird-watching) - on the premises we have a bar, dining-room, parking near the rooms and a salt-water swimming-pool. On the neighbouring farm you can enjoy scenic walking trails, exploring the unusual plants and succulents of the Klein Karoo. Accommodation De Poort Country Lodge has eight en suite rooms; family rooms that sleep four people each, double rooms and twin rooms. We offer great comfort with "extra" thoughtful touches. Each spacious room has a separate private entrance and consisting of tea & coffee facilities, fridge, hairdryer and a clock radio, but only some of the rooms have air-conditioners. We also provide clean linen & towels. Candlelit dinners can be enjoyed by prior arrangement. Children are welcome and we do accept Credit Cards.
